" Yacht Yard"

The idle sailboats line the docks and harbor at the yacht club on Canandaigua Lake.   They quietly wait for the opportunity to be opened up into the winds and waters of the late summer afternoon.   I spent a long time getting the water and reflections right in this painting, with many of the colors being poured onto wet paper.
