"Spring Morning Swing"
Willow
trees fascinate me. Their seasonal colors usually seem to be out of sync with
other trees and their complex flowing branch structures can almost always
define the direction and speed of the wind. Stewart Park on the north side of
Ithaca has rows of old willows lining the shoreline of southern Cayuga Lake.
The morning sun is illuminating the top of the trees and casting long shadows as
the pink of the morning sunrise gives way the blue skies of a tranquil spring
morning. The swing is icing on the artist cake
