"New Path"
I noticed that my neighbor was gathering flat rocks from some of the new house sites around us. Then one cold and rainy spring morning I looked out the window to find a newly laid stone path from his backyard extending into the gully. The blues, purples, and greens along with the signs of springtime life on the trees made this an irresistible subject for a painting.
