"Lower Taughannock"

The majesty of Taughannock Falls attracts many visitors year round.  Indeed the major falls is a breathtaking 200ft drop.   But there are many other  fantastic areas in the park.  The lower falls is visible from the rt 89 as you drive past the gorge.  I like the feeling of depth in the gorge behind these falls.   It is somewhat mystic especially in the autumn, and draws one in, for the hike back to the beginning of the that gorge and the source of that flow.
