"Late Autumn Leaves"
 

The old Wagner mansion sits high above Keuka Lake on the bluff adjacent to the Garrett Chapel.  The view from the back of the mansion looks directly south down the lake.  In October the long shadows cast by the late afternoon sun and pillars of the house create quite a view to the south.   The refuse of leaves in the foreground seemed like the foot prints of autumn leading to the house and the lake beyond.   I particularly like the hint of sunset over the distant hills provided subtle gradation of the sky from light orange to deep blue.
