" Honeoye from Hollister"

The small lakes south of Rochester provide both recreation and beauty to the area.  I'm not sure a more majestic view of these lakes exist than the one from Harriet Hollister Spencer State recreational area just south of Honeoye lake.  This area has a significant elevation and a "freshness" to it that is hard to describe.   A complete view of Honeoye lake appears on the horizon and is perfectly framed by the incredible colors of autumn as I gaze northward and try to gather it all in.
