I often go for an evening walk in the summer and autumn
months.
This vantage point is not too far from my house
overlooking Cayuga Lake. There is something quite peaceful yet exciting
about watching the distant lights come on around the lake shore in the evening,
especially when the rising moon illuminates the calm lake through the
silhouetted pines. An early November chill settles across the
hillside as the warmth of another late autumn day escapes into the clear sky.
