"Cayuga Equinox"
This painting captures Cayuga on the spring equinox just before sunset.    Winter has not really left the region but the promise of warmer weather now exists.   The surrealistic sky was a challenge to paint and the green of the lake is a common color at this time of year due to sediment from the early spring run off.
