"Autumn Falls"
Just to the west of the larger finger lakes lies a fantastic gorge which was carved by the Genesee River. This area has been preserved / improved as Letchworth State Park. The upper falls area is a nice horseshoe shape and most times of the year sends a pretty good mist up toward the very high rail road trestle above. I couldn't resist doing a painting of the early autumn afternoon light illuminating this scene from the south west.
