" Above the Locks"

Since the Erie Canal is intertwined with the Finger Lakes waterways, it seems valid for me to paint it.  Here's a nice view from the canal trail in Henrietta, just above lock #33.   I wanted to leave out any markers that could be used to identify the timeframe of the painting.  For all we know, I could have painted this in the autumn of the early 1900s  (and not 2008).
